Loosen the striker on the pillar. Loosen, but not loose. Then with it loosened, tap the striker inward with a small hammer. Retighten the bolts and recheck alignment. Being a hardtop, recheck the interface of the windows and weatherstrips.

Due to the weatherstrip issues, you might not be able to get things exactly like the other side of the car is, as to fit. Making things a little bit better can be good, though.

Enjoy!

Shes a convertible. Sorry if I didn't say that.

On a convertible, might need to also tweak the "wedges", too?

ONE thing to consider is that the existing weatherstrips have taken "a set" with the current door adjustment situation. As the door/quarter window relationship seem to be very good as it, moving the door rear inward CAN upset that relationship. Which would mean adjusting the glass outward a bit! End result, might be best to leave things as they are.

Just some observations,

What @CBODY67 said for adjusting the striker, but it's worth mentioning that you want to watch what the front edge of the door does when it closes. If all is good, it will just close, but you don't want it to bind or move outwards as it latches. Then you get into adjusting the hinges, then you may have to shim the fender out.... and on and on.

While chances are a simple adjustment is going to work, you want to be aware of everything else because it can snowball.

And the "less is more" principal applies here. Small adjustments, a little at a time, and a pencil mark around the striker may really help.
