The only thing that will keep it from going to a crusher is,

1. A custom furniture maker specializing in retro sofas,
2. A custom car builder vying to capture the 2018 Rider Award at any cost.

All three ways end up up with it being cut/crushed up.

Although the forward look cars were far advanced in style they suffered poor quality construction and would start to rust right away.
If you don't have the sheet metal skills, or deep pockets then your far ahead finding a "as solid as possible" project or a pampered original and paying the premium for it.
