Cool car. Is he saying this car was used in the movie Christine? or is he saying its one like in the movie Christine? It looks like he is saying it is from the movie.

Christine was a 1958 Plymouth, not a 1959. This guy is a dreamer if the thinks that is a near-driver or anywhere worth the money he is asking. And what is going on with the right front fender of the car? Scary to say the least.

Al off Happy Days would be going Yeeeeeaahp yeeeeeeaahp yeeeeeeeaahp about now.
Being located so close to the shipping yards I think the seller may be targeting the off shore buyers with a more lucrative economy...

Agreed. The movie car was a 58, not a 59.... These people.... I guess if it has fins, then it must be Christine or Christine's younger sister or some other crap. I think they jack up the price $4k just for mentioning the movie.

... it is a sport fury but it has some rust issues apparent outside (and a gar-run-tee you there is more to it. What is you definition of major rust?), interior is shot, engine is only a 318 and the car is missing a lot of expensive parts (Sportone trim, stainless, carb, air cleaner, radiator! Etc). Not gonna get anywhere close to what they are asking. Glad they shined the spare tire up for the photo, though.

Daily driver...where you gonna sit? You'll be doing the twist on the so called swivel seats just trying to avoid a spring in your ***. No tail lights, no door panels, no radiator, no carb.....The doors aren't even original. And the front fenders don't even match... I hope he means 9500 yen

Complete, my ***. Needs carb and radiator, and should drive, according to the meth-addicted seller. I say that, because a person of normal mind and thought would be an idiot to ask $9,500 for this. Two grand? I'd be on it for that.

This would be a solid project car if the body and floors are solid....and he knocks a zero off.

Actually it is a Fury, A 59 Sport Fury has gold side trim inserts, a faux spare on the deck lid and a "made for" plack on the dash.

I just missed one near me a week ago, a black sport fury for $800.00

Huh? believe you are thinking of the 57-58 Furys with the anodized gold side trim (Sportone). I have never seen a 59 with gold side trim.

I suppose this one COULD be just a Fury with incorrect trim... Admittedly it is missing the toilet bowl seat faux spare tire on the trunk (a popular option). There's some things about this car's trim level which contradict.

However, this one has the sport fury side trim and emblems on the fins. The fury would have had only the Fury script trim badges and reduced Sportone. Check it out below. First is the 1959 Plymouth line brochure. Second is the 59 Fury. Third is the 59 Sport Fury.

I stand corrected. The 57-58 had the gold trim on the Fury, 59-60 Sport Fury used a silver anodized trim, no Sport Fury in 61.

Man, I hate it when a great car comes along close to me and I miss out. Had it happen before to me. Sucks.

When I called him he still had it. Said a guy was coming out tomorrow to LOOK at it. I offered to come right then with his asking price, he declined saying he'd wait for the first guy. The listing was gone two days later.
