once again, as this is not the first mass 'graveyard' uncovered, i just dont understand, how someone can accumulate so many, and leave them to rot.

My guess is that they were recently dragged out of the barn that they were in. Cars don't stay that dusty out in the elements.

Barn tear down is what I'm thinking, it brings them out, usually the folks doing the tear down end up with the cars. The leaves on the decklid are the tell tale to me
