I just brought home a 61 Imp. Of course, there is no brake pedal, so first thing is to look at master cylinder. (I have a new one coming) As all I have are Fusies and Cordobas, this early C body is new to me. It has the bellows brake booster. The master cylinder is right below the bellows, so I assume you have to remove the bellows to get to the master. (That's what it looks to me.) The FSM is not really clear on this, or I am not reading at the right spot.

Undo the trigger and remove the bellows after you disconnect the vacuum hoses?

A good place to check for this would be the Online Imperial Club (www.imperialclub.com) which would have pretty complete information. There are individual year-by-year sections, and on brakes only. Good luck.
