On the dashboard cluster for the 1964 Chrysler 300k, both the Lights & Wiper knobs seem loose and a bit sloppy.
Though this doesn't seem to impact anything other than my OCD, I have a solution if this is something that also bothers you.
These parts are common across all Mopar, so i would suspect this solution would work for many applications.

For context, the two dials below.

By simply sandwiching rubber washers between the device and the cluster i was able to pull out any tolerance gaps.
The dials now operate crisply- i would argue better than factory install.

The Wiper requires a 1" washer (about the size of a Quarter) and you'll need to manually punch a square hole in the center. I used a XActo Knife.

The Lights dial requires a much bigger washer.
I dont recall specifically, but i believe it was 1-7/8" with a 1/2" center hole.
The exterior can be trimmed, but the center hole diameter is important so the mounting shaft can fit through.

Both washers were approximately 1mm thickness, and each only cost roughly $1 at ACE.

I recognize this is a bit of a dumb fix- but its small details like this that make a car feel complete.
