Looking for information on how to disassemble and rebuild manual seat tracks I am working with '64's but I believe that 62 to '66 may be the same. Would appreciate any info or how to's. As always pictures are the most helpful
I've only ever cleaned them up a bit. Not much to go wrong there, unless something is broken. If you really want to get them apart for a good cleaning/painting, you'll have to remove the stopper. It's probably a tab or two that's part of the frame that's bent in the way of the opening, could be a large rivet too. You may be tempted to lube the track, I wouldn't recommend that.
