1964 New Yorker - Didn't need it, but here we are...

Good floors & upholstery. I hope you removed the rear seat upright cushion to search for a Track Sheet. Remove two cap screws from loops protruding from the lower end of the cushion, slide the cushion slightly to unhook it from hooks on the rear bulkhead. Knows all, tells all. Worth the effort.

Didn't get a chance to last night, got dark so we put the seat back in and cleaned up. I'll pop the back off this afternoon and take a look!

The 98 is beautiful, is it a 75 or 76?
I had a 74 2door many years ago, maroon with white interior and white top.
Friend had a 72 4 door blue but don't remember the color of the interior or top even though I ended up buying it off him years after I had mine.
Also worked with an old German fellow who bought himself a dark blue 4 door, don't remember the year but it had the square headlights for his retirement present.

Thanks!

It's a '75. 455, full power, AM/FM/8 Track, pretty well loaded, missing passenger mirror and cornering lamps unfortunately lol. Had it for over 5 years now, bought it out in Iowa from the 2nd owner. Great car and it's probably my favorite Highway cruiser of all time. Was 90 something last night with super high humidity and I had to turn the air off I got cold!

My friend with the 72 and I were going to Daytona Beach for spring break in my 74, I was driving and happened to look over at my friend leaning forward to get something off the floor and his face was near the a/c vent and I could see his breath.

I believe it. Seriously amazing AC.

Cleaned up the front carpet and seat today. Still have to do the dash and trunk yet.

Some before and after

Perfect? No. But still really nice for the age.

Talk about a nice interior - contrasts well with the exterior - VERY rare to find original fabric still in such good, original condition...........

Much appreciated! I'm very happy with it too. Still soft even on the rear seat top. Must have spent a lot of time in the garage.

Did the trunk cleanup today, and found the build sheet on the back seat back.

A nice 90 something with swamp humidity and a "feels like" 102 this late afternoon.

Washed up the car and my daughter and I ran some errands in ice cold Chrysler comfort. Randy and the Rainbows singing "Denise" in a car that was built almost 62 years ago. Close as I'm going to get to a time machine I think.

Went to Westmont Crusin' Nights in Westmont Illinois last night, beautiful cool evening and a massive turnout. Saw this gorgeous '61 parked a few cars down from me.

Then today my brother came over to lens a had in doing some cooling system renewal. Replaced the Water Pump, T Stat, hoses, fan clutch, belts after a good flushing of the block and radiator. Coolant didn't look awful for the 30+ years it's been in there though.

Also on the way home last night I got some headlight flicker and a bounce on the Ammeter (not the normal movement with turnsignals/brakes etc).

Voltages seemed ok with a multimeter so I was a little confused but threw a new Voltage Regulator on (From Advance) and everything seems back to normal.

Have a friend that works at Prestone so I'll run this coolant for a few weeks then drain and see how it looks and dump some more fresh (Free!!) coolant in.

I was temporarily stuck in the advance parking lot, great place to break down by the way, when I came out to my Saturn not wanting to crank. Relays clicked so I had power, gave the starter a smack and it fired off. Walked back inside and bought a starter lol.

Not much excitement to share, but put another couple hundred miles on the car this weekend. Stays nice and cool, Ammeter isn't wonky anymore, and the car runs great. It was put on Rennisance Faire, Beach, and Ice Cream duty all weekend and didn't miss a beat!

Next up is probably a trans service just because I don't know when it was done last. Fluid looks nice though. Same for the rear end.

Did a little engine bay cleaning up today. Still need more definitely but looks a lot better and should be more pleasant to work on.

Any plans for master cylinder upgrade?
Probably going to be a spring project. I'd like to find some 15 inch wheels at some point too, but these tires are nearly new so not a priority.

Otherwise nothing too exciting to report, just enjoying whats left of the driving season when I can.

Nice Track Sheet, but not from the red NY 4DS. VIN off by 20m date off by 1, Body 4DHT, not 4DSedan, white, but not red paint-etc.

Nice Track Sheet but not for the Roman Red 4DSedan. VIN off by 28, date off by 1, Body 4DHT, not 4DSedan, white car not red, same trim--assembler just grabbed a B&W rear seat back without checking the VIN. Happens all too often I could dummy one up for your car from fender tag data and other info if you wish. Much will be the same since both cars are NY's.
