Yeah, it's actually my grandpas and there's a yearly car show he goes to (the only one) the last weekend of the month. So I'd like to have it fixed for him asap so he can make it. He's had the car since 70, the 65 convert pace car.

Worst case scenario is that you spot weld the ball joint into place.
It was a common practice when I was pulling wrenches in the 80's...
The last 65 I had was the recipient of this style of repair.
