My 1966 Chrysler 300 has front disc brakes. The lid for the master cylinder is tall compared to other master cylinders with drum brakes that have just a thin metal lid. Is the tall lid because of front disc brakes?
Yes it is, our huge calipers take a bunch of fluid when the pads are worn out.
It is also a larger bore than a drum brake car.
I ended up buying a mid '70 dual master and converting to it.
