What is the correct radial tire size for a 1966 Chrysler 300? It had old H78-15 tires originally. I am thinking that would convert to P225/75R15. Thanks!

Actually, the 8.55x14 size (with factory a/c, 8.25x14 without factory a/c) pre-dates the H78-14 size. Which leads to P225/75Rx14 or P245/70R-14.

If the car had factory disc brakes, then the OEM size was 8.45x15, which leads to P225/75R-15.

For station wagons, it was 9.00x14 on a 14x6.5 steel wheel.

Hope this helps,

I am running 235-75/15s on my '66 300 convertible. Ride great. Look great.
