Might be a long wait at that price. Painted bumpers are a real turn off, engine is the wrong color, mis-matched seats, aftermarket air cleaner and wheels. No letter series 300 for '66. Probably worth somewhere in the $3k-$3.5k range.

Yeah, overpriced with all the junk done to it and the lack of any options.

It will cost at least $6500 just to undo all the wrong/awful things that have been done to it....... at least there's a new master cylinder........ wonder what the original color is......

Fender Tag is there, but probably too much color on it to read :BangHead:

The long fabled letter car from 1966 and it's a four-door. :)

Yeah new MC, and it looks like they may have plumbed that wrong too. Front reservoir should go to the rear circuit and vice-versa. From what I can see, I think the rear MC is plumbed to the rear circuit and the front one is going down to the distribution block to feed the front brakes, which is backwards.

Attention to detail is admirable.

You gotta love that Griswold knot of wiring under the dash!
Did you notice the spark plug wires ziptied together in a bunch, and the red and blue power wires strung around the engine compartment like a set of Christmas lights? I think the ignition coil is strapped to the bracket on the valve cover where the heater hoses are supposed to attach.

But the condenser is bolted to the coil mount. And what the hell did they use for a power steering hose?
