I been a bit Mia lately. Brought home this gem last weekend. Complete car bumper to bumper. This car was a one family owned. Pretty neat. I am thinking about selling it. Just putting some feelers out to see if there is any interest.

The air cleaner is wrong and I think the radiator is wrong to? is that the original engine for that car?

Yea the air cleaner looks 70s but he just threw on the Imperial pie tin, I would be suspicious of a engine transplant unless the original air cleaner went missing and was replaced there will be someone who knows a lot more then me on this subject.

Great color on that one.

I was told that the engine was rebuilt some where a long the line. According to the vin this car has the 440. I can't see under the air compressor to see the engine where the traditional 440 would be stamped. To much stuff in the way.

It's the right radiator, 66 was the first year for that style.

It's not all that difficult. My dead grandmother could do it. Especially if she was selling it.

Radiator is correct, air cleaner is not...although that might be an air cleaner off an '81 - '83 Imp.

Did a little looking today. Been crazy busy. My casting numbers are 25364305. Which makes is a 440. The date year is 7.15.70!!! So the old guy did replace the original one. My thought is he put on a ton of miles towing campers from Indiana to Long Island. After 4 years maybe longer her replaced it with a 1970 440. This odometer reads just over a thousand miles. One could say after he replaced the motor be never drove it much then parked it in 1999.

I wonder if he retained the original '66 closed-chamber heads, or used the '70s on that 440. You've got a nice driver there.

Idk but this motor has duel oil coolers. Lines come right out of the oil pan. It's for sale its on e bay now.

I will get it for you later. Working right now
