1966 Frost Turquoise Metallic

To be honest I've never worried too much about primer color. If you use a good quality paint line and put enough coats on for complete coverage you will see little to no difference. Some lower line paints don't cover well due to weak pigments. With them as well as Candy colors primer color will make a difference. That being said a uniform base is always a good idea. I always use a light gray sealer before the color goes on. Looks like that's what they did on Peter's 65.

So I went rogue and just decided on a color I liked. Just base and clear, haven't cut and buffed yet.

Now that I can finally log in, it's turquoise just like mine:p.

Turquoise:
Turquoise color is difficult to define, most commonly it is said to be a color between blue and green. It is similar to cyan color and in general it depends on the particular shade, but turquoise color's wavelength is usually taken as 490∗10−9 m, so probably it is more close to blue.

Okay I'll let blue slide this time.

In car speak turquoise or aqua marine. But many shades
