Btw, the trunk lid is not from ‘66 which begs the question :wtf:

The top assembly including good working pump and cylinders (but for the moment not the latch) is available.
I’m just realizing that the rear crossmember that is directly over the rear window is missing.
The front member is a little crusty across the front but it’s structurally sound. The switch and wiring harness is also available separately.
Shipping would be extra and the responsibility of the buyer but I’ll certainly help by palletizing it for an hourly rate. Asking $1,500.

I’m just realizing that the rear crossmember of this top is missing so I just revised the last post to reflect that including a lower price.

Exhaust manifolds are sold.

Finally made some time to continue dismantling. A guy was supposed to come for the doors today so I had to get them off but he ended up postponing.
all the wiring harnesses are in great condition, I’ll come up with some pricing for them.
door and quarter glass is all very nice as is all the front window trim.

Pretty much stripped from the topside. I think next I’m going to hoist the body off the frame up to the rafters while I strip the frame which is already spoken for.

That frame looks almost as thick as a 3/4 ton truck!
That’s why the derby crowd won’t leave me alone about it…. I’ve been telling them I will cut it up and build furniture out of it before knowingly putting it into service as a battering ram. :icon_fU:

Atta boy, Matt! Keep that giant hulk of well engineered steel out of the wrong hands.
