The line coming off the ac compressor seems to be upside down. It should go over to the right side of the engine. Notice the sharp bend before it goes to the firewall.

I don't see anything wrong with that line - it looks exactly like all 3 of my AC big block 66s. There's a bit of an optical illusion right by the firewall and the drain flap...

Blowing up the pics on my phone I now see it. The line coming off the front of the compressor goes down by the p/s pump and then across the front of the car and then is the hard line on the R fender.
My memory fails me, its been since the mid 70s since I had a 65 SF.
Iirc the 72 C body hoses were different...its been since the late 70s-early 80s since I had those.
