I dont think so Stan, whatever you buy will be too nice to need panels

As time goes on, I'm really liking more and more just maintaining ,enjoying, and most likely keeping my current NYB. It's giving me too much pleasure. A rarity for me.
IF and when another car comes along, it will be likely be a project that I will bet the farm on, take out a second mortgage, and wait for an opening with Chris to do it exactly the way I want it. And keep driving my NYB.

I dont want projects, I see you enjoy them but I have one, a ten year project and it wont be done for another twenty. I like a turn key car

Same with me, the NY'er will keep me busy for the next couple of years. The next car has to be turn key or me or needing very little minor stuff.

Sitting in the same spot for five years...
If I ever get my dads cars gone I may get motivation to turn a wrench but then again, big deal, you gotta have the coin.

yes, 440, power bucket seat, multiplex, air, tilt, cornering lights, power steering, disc brakes, fender mtd turn signals.

Originally one of the Rose Bowl cars built for the 1970 Rose Bowl parade, no big deal to anyone except me but I like to say it. Originally had a white top.

an acquaintance of mine and Freds dug this photo out of the Rose Bowl archives....The Mayor of Ppasadena in a 70 Polara ragtop. To date I know of three, all sequentially numbered, so I think I am missing at least one.

Best part is, there are Furys, Chryslers, Cudas and Challengers out there from the Parade, all done in white and black and no one knows it.

Dave I hope to see your car finished at Carlisle sometime. It deserves restoration.

At this rate Fred, highly unlikely. I should buy the space for the car and lay a picture in the spot, its the only way it'll ever be seen there.

Very interesting history!

It is Bob, it really is......You always hear tales of the Bengal Chargers or the St Louis Blues Barracudas and there was a special run of the Coronet too for some reason or the other. No one is talking about Rose Bowl cars, which the Tournament of Roses was sponsored by Chrysler back in the day and they had tons of cars on dealers lots and in the parade. IN 1970 the Apollo 12 astronauts were the dignitaries of the parade as well as others, thats a big deal and yet, no one is talking.

None of the three 70 Polara convertibles had head rests in the bucket seats, they were all missing......because they were parade cars and were removed so people in the back could be seen.
