O.K. Gents,2 dr. Fury's. What's your pleasure? The outdated but still stylish notchback or the newly designed fasttop, to keep up with the Ford n Chevy swoopy lines on the Galaxie's and Impala's respectively.

I'll go notchback on these, I just love that roofline.

hmm.....
It's a slab,
Its a Fury,

Ok I wouldn't want to own one, but, I like the styling of the Notch better. The Fasttop pictured with the vinyl top just doesn't work for me.

I think the fasttops look cool with some road wheels and less trim (and no vinyl tops)

So you Keep the Newport and only sell the green fuselage 300 ? ;)

This is a tough one because I like both of them. I would probably take the Notchback over the Fast Top if all other things were equal, because I don't see as many of them. I think the Notchbacks were slightly more rare. You got me thinking about Galaxies and Impalas when you mentioned Plymouth trying to come up with a "swoopy" design. To me and some others, there has always been a slight resemblance between slab Furys and Galaxies of that era. This is what happens when you get me thinking. :laughing4:

Just a "What If ?". Furys could have ended up looking something like this.

I played around with one of the pics a little. :)

The shape of the rear quarter side Windows and the shape of the c-pillar created by that is what I don't like on fast tops and the Fastback creation as well. They really had something unique and Special with the notchback design they came up with earlier.
