1968 Chrysler Newport Convertible, help with convertible not working

My top has worked fine in the past.
now it only moves for a few seconds and stops
waiting a few seconds it will operate again but only for a few seconds and stops!
I checked the switch and it's working fine
also looked for a leak in the lines or hydraulics
need help or suggestions.

I've never had a problem with mine but I've kept all the hinges well lubricated.
