I’m looking to get a new boot for my 1968 imperial convertible. Everywhere that comes up online appears to have snaps that you then have to drill into the metal around the opening. My current one has clips, and many of them are broken. It also has metal rails that slide into a groove behind the rear seat. Does anybody know where I can source one of these? Are these unobtanium???

It doesn’t appear to give me an option to choose an imperial on the drop-down menu. I’ll try giving them a call. I’m new to this body style, does it share the platform with another body style?
Definitely call them as they have correct boots with the plastic snaps for other models. If you have the original boot, they may want to use that as a template to make them.

No go from them. He said they don’t have anything for that car. I asked them if they could use mine as a template and they said they’re not taking any new orders because there are 11 weeks behind. So no luck. Any other suggestions?

They do have the plastic snaps so that part could be covered.

Do you have an upholstery shop near you? A good shop can make one using the Legendary clips and your old one as a template.

I’m going to stop by one this afternoon. There’s one here in Charlotte that came highly recommended
