1968 Dodge Polara Convertible - $13,500 - Thousand Oaks, California

FB Description

Very clean 2 owner 1968 Dodge Polara convertible. Factory 383 2bbl upgraded with 4bbl Edelbrock 650cfm AVS2 carburetor, Pertronix electronic ignition and coil, fresh plugs, wires, shocks, all fluids, Flomax muffler and battery. American Racing wheels with Goodyear Fuelmax tires have less than 100 miles. Car was purchased at Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago and was moved to Southern California soon after. Certicard and manual along with decades of records show the care taken of this awesome ride. Floats down the road, the rebuilt 727 transmission shifts like a dream and with the 8 3/4 sure grip differential she has plenty of get up and go. Fell free to ask questions. This is a very fun driver and is an excellent investment. Make me on offer!

I wonder what color it used to be? black engine bay is not the norm for ‘68.

While the firewall and inner fenders have been blacked out the cowl, core support and underside of the hood are red. My guess is it was originally red

Black engine bay and Corporate Blue big block. Color change from dark metallic green to resale red (look at the trunk pic). Looks like a Chevy guy did the "improvements" in that regard. Car looks nice, other than that nonsense.

I'd offer $7,500 firm.
