I have 10 originals in various states of broken haha

Same here for my Polara. I was sitting in the driveway with the door open and the RF body side mld. Just fell off. The 60 year old plastic clips just gave up the ghost. Someone repops them but no one on the planet has them in stock. I started a wanted ad on FBBO and someone was nice enough to send me some of their spares.

@Zymurgy - he may be able (and willing) to make them. He made clips for Mel, our ‘95 Buick Roadmaster and they came out great.

I feel like I made a mold for these clips but there was too much flex for them to work and a harder resin was too hard Sorry

I looked in my molds and this is the one I found. It is different and pretty large. I could most likely make some, but they would need to be made out of the same product as I made for Steve above in post #22 for his Buick Roadmaster. This product is completely rigid, so it would not need to flex.

Mine have a different pattern. I can find hundreds for dodge pick ups but they're too big . These are 3.24 x 1.3.

Send me a personal message if you would are interested in me making them. I can discuss the process and cost. They would be made out of the hard resin. I would also need 2-4 in basically complete near perfect condition to make the mold.

Good luck. If you don't have a pressure pot you may have some air bubbles but with a clip that big you are probably fine so long as they are not in critical areas.

Are you using smooth-on products?
