1969 Chrysler 300 Convertible Looks pretty nice. More pictures would help though. A wash job wouldn't hurt either.

1969 Chrysler 300

condition: excellent
cylinders: 8 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
paint color: blue
size: full-size
title status: clean
transmission: automatic
type: convertible

Beautiful 1969 Chrysler 300 Convertible in excellent condition. She is painted in the original Bahama Blue with a white convertible top and Navy Blue interior. This classic is one of only 1933 Chrysler 300 convertibles built that year. This full sized girl is equipped with the legendary Chrysler 440 cubic inch engine which produced 350 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque and the original Carter AVS 4-barrel carburetor. The Torqueflite 3 speed automatic transmission is still considered one of the finest, most reliable ever built. She is numbers matching, which means she still has the original engine and transmission she left the factory with back in '69. She is also equipped with air conditioning, power steering, brakes and windows, and for a nostalgic touch, she still has her working original AM 8 Track Stereo radio! Also, power hidden headlights were a standard feature on the 300 series that year.

Body, interior, trunk and engine compartment are all in excellent condition. The top was replaced in 2009, and she has been in interior storage since then. The interior features a center "Buddy Seat" with an armrest that folds up to provide a middle seating position, giving true 6 passenger comfort. In the Sixties, bigger was better, and this big girl was among the largest cars on the road, stretching a total of 18 feet, 8 inches long! 1969 was also the first year for Chrysler's "Fuselage" styling, featuring unbroken rounded sides, making her look even longer and lower.

This is a running, driving car. Among the mechanical items replaced are air conditioning compressor, battery, front brakes, shock absorbers, fuel pump, hoses, belts and vacuum lines. Also, interior door and quarter panels, buddy seat, seat covers, carpet, convertible top and boot, tires, hubcaps and rear bumper have all been replaced.

For more information, please call.

The seller claims that it has the original Carter AVS. The '69 300's with the base 440 motor I've seen all had the Holley 4160.

I've had 3 69 300s with the 440. Two 350 hp versions and one TNT. My first car was a 69 with 42k original miles when I got it. All had Carter carbs. I've had 2 70s, they had Holleys.

In '69 all 440's 350hp and 375 hp came with AVS carburetors

In '70 the 350 hp 440 came with Holley, the 375 hp came with AVS carburetors

In the 1969 Chrysler Passenger Parts Catalog under section 14-30-0, it shows full size P,D & C w/std cam a Holley (4160) R4166A 2946582.

Auto parts stores list both Carter and Holley carbs also.
