I've decided to part with my beloved 300. I sadly do not have the resources to giver her a proper restoration. In the interest of transparency, I paid $6,500 for her in 2019 and put in about $1,500, so I'd like to come out even, give or take. But I'll accept any reasonable offer to keep her from wasting away in my driveway.

Overall, it's a solid car. The frame and body panels are pretty much rust free with the exception of a few spots on the rear quarters. The roof admittedly needs a patch job and the front seats especially need some TLC.

The engine's solid, 440 k-motor, 76,000 original miles with a new Edelbrock 750 cfm carb. Replace the battery and alternator and she's a reliable daily, give her a tune up and she'll cruise at 95 all day long. Bring a trailer if I don't get around to repalcing the alternator and battery. Time is one of the resources I lack

The car is near Charlotte, NC and I will only deal face to face, cash for clean title. I don't understand PayPal, Zelle, Venmo and all that so I'd just as soon not deal with that. Give the condition, I think it's a fair price but make me an offer I can't refuse.

Can you post a pic of the fender tag, and also the area of the roof that you say needs a patch.

I don;t have the fender tag pic handy, but here are some roof pics. I suck at Bondo, so it looks pretty sad. I think I may have at least slowed or stopped the bleeding with sanding and primer. Body work's not my thing. The rest of the car is solid, just that roof area. the asking price is very negotiable.

1, Do you have pix of the underside?

2, Are you keeping the car covered to stop the progression of rust from the top down?

The thing is that at the very least gunna need a whole new roof, and probably all 4 pillars, could even be a candidate for converting into...

A convertible.

Just need to build a frame for it.

Either way, tons of work.

Lucky me I have an indoor place to park something like this!

The seats can be reupholstered, but I wonder if the water coming down through the roof has destroyed the floor panels by this point.
