Convenient draping tarp in the original photo's. Perhaps that's the reason for the "price drop". That's a whole lot of work right there, forget about the rest of the car.

officially there were 338 69 Monaco 500 converts but the reality is that there were 347.
of those 347 all were automatic, there was 197 with console shift.
    318-2V 190
    383-2V 80
    383-4V 73
    440-dual exhaust 2
    440 High performance 2
    One car had a/c
    Four had cruise
197 had a center console (meaning the rest had buckets and a column shift)
    23 had a SuperLite
22 had a right hand remote mirror.
    138 had power windows
    67 had heavy duty suspension
1 had a trailer tow package
1 had a max cooling package (probably the same car)
13 had a spring special package (no details on what was in the package)
    1 was factory delivery.
    4 had an AM/FM radio
27 had a sport steering wheel

I dont know if there were canadian polara and polara 500 convertibles, I assume so but dont have any #s.

my 69 Monaco 500 convert is a 383 4v, console shift pw car, right hand mirror, sport steering wheel car.

First off, that is quite a precise list you have provided, thank you.

Secondly, you bought that? Awesome! I saw that a week or two ago and thought of you, given your proximity to the seller. I figured you'd know about it, and likely not be interested. Then again, I really don't know you.

I would imagine given the quality of work that was done, that the original car was relatively solid to begin with. I really like his vision, it's going to be a pretty serious mind f**k once it's done, to all but us C body nuts. What colour are you thinking or going?
