NOT MINE 1969 Polara CHP for sale on eBay ($49k OBO)

OEM Disk, 11" drum in rear, power brakes.
I think she was use to modern cars and gave it to much brakes.

Alan
Ah I see, I interpreted it as the brakes had a failure of some type. I guess she just stood on the pedal and sent the car into a skid.

It is the original engine, it has been "built", I don't recall what the engine color looked like in person.

Alan
I've seen that word " built" in reference to engines and Carbys many times now and am wondering, what on earth are they talking about?
Of course those things are built.
My assumption is it's slang for a term used in the 1990's, " worked", simply meaning lots of money, time and energy expended in an attempt to make the item better/ faster/ quicker etc.
Often resulting in failure shortly thereafter.

In this case I think it is a stroker. I know they didn't leave the inside stock, I just don't recall what they did.

Text from eBay AD says 'Rebuilt" although whether it refers to engine or transmission or both from the text.

Don't be confused by the sound on the drag strip video as the lumpty lumpty cam sound is most likely from the 1st Gen 'Maro(?) in the other lane which disappears into the distance as with the sound.
