I purchased this one. It was one of the members old car, that was rear ended and left for dead in AZ. I have big plans and parts are being located. Still need a few items.
I think this Monaco used to be @azblackhemi's wagon -- I recognize the double mole on the hood and the wheel covers. More on the car's history here and here.
Yup that's my old wagon. I drove it regularly for two years. Sold it to a local guy who removed the HP manifolds and put headers on it and some other mods too. A couple of years ago it was advertised locally needing engine work. That was the last I heard of it until now.
Headers , new exhaust , fancy disc brakes , aluminum radiator . I think the rear diff has a spool in it now or something bound up . haven't even tried to start it . I'm going to straighten the looks out first then re-engine it , most likely
The burgundy 1969 Polara wagon for $2600.00 in NH , Was posted for sale by : Parts of the Past 197 Orange Rd, Canaan, NH 03741 (603) 523-4524 Through my great detective work .I found the info ,called and received a text that the car was gone ? I had the same problem try to respond to incomplete posts. Give them a call maybe they found it again ??
I found it on their website too and I emailed them about it but they said it was gone..but it's still on their website..i might email them again.
Did you ever really price out transportation costs. I used a company in the late fall of 2015 that is Domiciled somewhere in Central California to move a car I bought in Anaheim to Wilmington, N.C.(I have a brother that lives in Cypress that helped with the cash transfer to the seller) You do the distance calculation on that and see how it fits into your distance plans. FYI, The bill for that trip(in 2015) was $1145 and I had the car in 10 days from the day I contracted them. I dealt directly with the owner by cell phone (who was out there boogieing at the time somewhere in the contiguous 48) and the office Gal and my car was hauled by the Hired Driver BTW. One owner with two trucks and a 2nd driver for one of 'um and one office gal. No Brokers No Agents, or Middle Men, And no B.S., Jer
thanks for remembering. mine met it's fate in '87 when i pulled the engine out of it for, and scrapped it in favor of, my 2nd car:
