I've heard of cars suffering from terminal rot in the cowl and A pillars. Is this an example of what that looks like?

CM23T0C261563 is a late-build, ER6 red 1970 300 2dr with a C VON (Canadian-market car). No A/C, no vinyl top -- this car should sell IF the rust issues are not terminal. I am not liking what I am seeing in the photos, would be great if others could chime in.

That firewall looks a bit spongy, how deep does the rust on that front pillar go!
It would be nice to see inside the trunk below the shelf where the rust is festering below the paint.
A hole in a panel is one thing but when it's where supports are, huuuummm!
Other wise a nice looking car, 70 300's are very nice models.

Crispy firewall. Therefore definitely not a 15K dollar car. Used to be beautiful back in the day.

nice, lots to like ... but "crunchy" in wrong/bad places as has been observed..

my belief its this one would need to be eyeballed -- in person, hands on -- pretty good if one was interested in it.

still ...

T code but has HP manifolds.
Wiring is iffy at best with a Phord starter relay and butchered harness for the electronic ignition conversion.
The car is near New Hamburg which is the Moparfest is held. Good chance this car may be in the corral.
No interior or trunk pics...I'm out..lol.

Like others firewall is bad.
Windshield pillar too ( my polara has the same ) so carpet need to be pulled to see ploors and inside door pillar.
Dutchman panel worring need of picture from inside ( the hardest one to take )
Need picture of rear rails because waters often leaks on trunk floor, starting on right side, dont know why.

How did the dutchman panel name come about, I see this reference all over?
Why do the dutch get credit for it?

I wonder if the ziptie om the brake booster check valve to the firewall support rod is structural

Price is obo, so make one. Ask for more pictures if you like.

No the zip tie isn’t structural smart a**.

Not a Ford starter relay, remote battery disconnect with switch under dash.

Thanks for all the kind words

The car is in 100 percent better shape than when I bought it in ‘07, could have had a better body job but no funds!
