This is a TRUE one owner survivor ...
stored in a garage for the last 25 years...
Everything is original from the factory (except the battery).
It has a black interior, black paint, black vinyl top,
has power drum brakes, power steering and factory air conditioning.
The car has some surface rust and scratches in paint and a couple
of small tears in the interior. It has not been started or moved
in 25yrs.Please see pictures for a good look at a great true survivor.

Wants a restored price for a car with a lot of unknowns such as where Mickey and his friends spent the years...

I called about that car when I saw the listing last week. While the body and interior are nice it appears, the car has not been run in 25 years and when the seller tried to turn the engine, he went about 3" he said and then it stopped, but he said he thought it was probably a rusted timing chain. I have never experienced that and think that with mice in the air cleaner and urine going into the intake and down into any cylinders with open valves, it is likely rusted at the rings of those cylinders. He said he did not want to turn it further as he felt he might break the timing chain and cause engine damage. Without an engine that at least spins, I would not consider this car, and the price he is asking would be more suitable for a running/driving car in number 1 or 2 condition overall. And then the brake and fuel systems probably need to be redone completely before you could even drive the car given the humid climate the car resides in (rust belt). He bought it from the kids of the deceased previous owner's estate who didn't want the car and probably sold it to him at a good price, and now it is time to cash in on his good luck. He said he is a Chevy guy, so he is letting it go. He was a nice guy and didn't try to cover anything up, but this is not a valuable Camaro or Chevy Impala or the like. I think he will realize that after a while.

Oh man man man, what a beautiful car... and good pictures even..!

Them rodents guys are BAD.. but on the other hand.. the air filter case must be just about the "ideal mouse home", except for the lack of light.

I would LOVE to own this beast (even with crank windows), and I like the 25 year of the road theme.

Judging from the pic's, I have no doubt about the 24k miles either.

Body seems straight, interior and trunk looks so fine, nearly untouched, but MAN I hate Chrysler's vinyl trunk mats:

Your new Imp is WAY nicer than this deal. Yeah this one is black but that blue on your new Imp is so stunning, plus you can get in it and drive it for the same money as this one as a "project" that will need another $5k to get it to kind of resemble the one you just picked up. IMHO

Thanks for the kind words about the "blue wonder".. Don't get me wrong.. I was not comparing this black beauty to the Imp.. The B3 is STUNNING, and I'm still processing the fact that I was so lucky to win that auction.

But "Blackie" would still look great in the driveway, along with the others. I have always had a tendency to assemble "a pile of goodies".. kind a like them cardinal birds, who collect and arrange various blue articles around their "love nest", in order to score some hot birds, which is probably also why I do it. (instinctly of course, as I am very married) :-D

I should probably go to more car shows.. but I seem to work all the time. I need to see many Mopar's on one spot for a whole weekend, but i even missed the Danish Mopar meet recently! Maybe that could put a cork in these expensive thoughts.

However, the 70' 300 is a "must own one of these again some day". I don't think I ever regretted selling a car as much as that one. My old Hurst has come up for sale here in DK, just 20 min away from me.. and the price isn't even that bad.. MUST try to resist! By the way, just HOW bad / wrong it would be, to paint a real 300 Hurst black :-)

MAn what a sharp looking car that would be And is, I don't know about Stuart little in the air cleaner though.

That $12,500 price is deep into crack-smoker territory, for certain. I'd be all in at three to four grand, max. Hopefully, the guy did not try to start it with that damn mouse nest still in place! Looks nice minus the wheel covers, too!

This thing just needs a set of fresh blackwalls to go "all in" for the midnight cruiser look. It is sweet.

Pull the intake, heads, and pan, see what's going on in the valley. New brake lines, master, wheel cylinders and calipers, new gas tank and fuel lines, shocks, radiator, etc.... about $5k's work to get it on the road, at the very least. At least it doesn't appear you have to treat any cancer, tho. That may change.

That would make a beautiful car. But I doubt 5 grand would be enough to put it back on the road. My estimate is ten grand. And I bet the rodents made a nest into the heater box too, and ate up parts of the seat foam. There must be terrible stench in that car, all over. The interior probably needs to be torn down & renewed to get rid of the stench. Ask me how I know. - Therefore, I'd only be interested, if his asking price were around 3 to 4 grand. No way at 12.5.

The car has a Ziebart sticker in the right rear window, good chances the Body is as good as it Looks.
Some traces of mildew it seems, but not severe. Very desirable.

I am just amazed at how rough that underhood looks on that car for how nice the rest looks??? How did it get so rough up on the firewall, brake booster, shoot even the core support shows some surface rust where the rest of the car is very nice. The door hinges show rust and the trunk pan but that is about all I see? But that underhood!

I would assume it has had an overspray sometime in its life. The original paint only stayed shiny for a couple of years, even if the car was mostly garaged. If you wanted to keep it sparkling, an overspray was needed in the early eighties. Depends on the climate, of course. A California garage baby might have endured longer.

Not sure how you guys spend money, but I don't see how anyone would have to dump 5k to get that running. It's a Mopar, I wouldn't trust a chevy guys assessment on how much force you need to get that engine to turn.

It would go fast and the fact that the engine won't spin over you can be assured it will need to be pulled and bored out so plan on a new set of slugs and the machine bill. brakes, master, booster, exhaust, tires, change fluids, rad probably needs cleaning or recore, fuel tank cleaned or replaced, new fuel lines, new brake lines, then PRAY that those mice that built the nest did not feast on the wiring which you know they would have eaten into some of it. There are ALOT of unknowns that will probably need attention (not to mention the piss smell) and there is no way they can get that kind of money out of a non-driver no matter what color it is. Just my opinion

The seller is not the original owner. Therefore this is a two owner car.

Flippers not counting themselves.... sheesh.

Hopefully the turning the engine and stopping at 3" means he was manually turning the crank and didn't suck more of that crap into the engine.

People, you are missing a vital point.
His insistence on his absurd timing chain diagnosis and his other delusions.
I would not believe one word he says about his descriptions.
25 hundred.
