I have owned this car since 2012.It is very clean. 72,000 miles. Mechanically, it has many new parts since I have owned it. Too much to list. $18,500. Call

This sure looks a lot like Leaburn's buddy's car "Bluebird" that he restored 8 years ago, and then sold in '12. Is this it @cbarge ? If it is, then the 383 in there came out of a '70 RR.

Curious how the then selling price relates to the now asking price. ..nice looking restored driver

If it is the car, and I don't know if it is, it is not being offered by that purchaser. From his post on the Dock, it stayed in Ontario when he sold it.

The new owner is a great guy, he's from Guelph and fell totally in love with the car. And he got a great deal. I am sure he will enjoy the car and I am happy that he is happy with it.

Not the same car. Theo had NOS Newport Custom tailights installed.
Plus Bluebird had a black interior IIRC.
There are other things I see that I do not recognize.

Nice car, but 18.5 for a car with no AC, roll-up windows, a bench seat with covers on it, faded dash and carpet, and no pictures of the trunk? I'll be interested in seeing where this one ends up.

If I had $18,500 for a 'vert, I'd be looking for something with a little more pedigree, not this one, and esp with the flaws that Snotty mentioned.

There was something about this car that brought back a memory... that's it, I thought for sure this was the convertible from the Brady Bunch! Well I was close, but theirs was a Fury III. But I am going to venture to guess you all new that already.

Same here. I like cheaper cars with flaws so I don't have to be paranoid about scratches and dings. But if it's at 'record-breaking' asking price, it better be just about perfect. For that price I also want new seats and foam, not original - I don't want something that might start tearing out the seams in 50-year-old vinyl if I start driving it.
