Wow! What a beauty with the early build emblem in the rear bumper. At $9k now and the reserve still has not been met. I agree with Dave that bidding will get to $12k.

I don't have the wife problem anymore and do have cash on hand but no more house or garage. :(

Can I head down to pep boys and get a c body car cover? :)

Obviously a pampered car. Looks like the claim the car was garaged may be true. I'm always amazed to see another early rear bumper.

Very nice indeed. Since the seller was kind enough to post the fender tag, I had some fun (thanks to MyMopar - Mopar Forums & Information - 1969-1974 Mopar Fender Tag Decoder ):

I saw that, early build. So many 70s and no 71s. I figure itll get 12000

If anyone was in the market for this what would you pay?

It is not a gotta have car for me though in all the years of me looking this is probably the 2nd nicest 1970 2 door hardtop Ive ever seen. As I said I think it will get twelve and its worth it

I, for one, am not going to believe that everything about that car is original. Sorry, but the paint looks too perfect, the jambs too perfect, the inside of the trunk lid too perfect, the engine compartment too perfect and the driver's side armrest has been sunburned. I also have a car that has always been garaged and yet one can finds subtle signs of surface rust in areas where this car should also have some. Plus my car was a 1/3 of it's life in San Diego with little to no rain. Unless that car was in a 100% air tight garage, and never out during the Northern California rainy season, there should be visible signs. Hell the car had to be washed, and unless the original owner blow dried the car, there would be water left on it until it evaporated. Is there anyone else who blow dries their car like me and then dries every nook and cranny? Since the guy selling the car is flipping it I automatically wouldn't take his word at face value until hands on the car.

First lie "and the original paint". Cars been painted IMO (see enlargement from eBay)

(edit) also engine has been painted & detailed, why? Looks to be a truly low mileage car...

From my experience if you sand that run you're going to find it's the factory primer that ran. They dipped them and runs were common on door jambs and engine compartments. Not saying it hasn't been painted but I don't think this run indicates it.

I agree and I have no experience except on my original cars, they have runs too.
