BTW, I'd keep the Gilley's sticker on the car! Cool '70s-'80s touch, plus Gilley's (the actual club in Pasadena, TX) has been gone for many years.

This car was last tagged in 1986. The story goes that shortly after it was parked in a garage until recently. Here’s a few more pics I’ve taken today while cleaning it up. It’s still wearing bias-ply tires installed at Sears along with the alignment done at the same time in 1983. They even splurged for whitewalls!

Cool find. Have you looked for a broadcast sheet yet?
I worked for Sears Catalog from 1977-1981. I sold many sets of tires; whitewalls were not extra then. If people wanted blackwalls (why?) they just mounted the whitewall inside.

Great score! That is a real time capsule. Black side walls would not look out of place on that Fury.
