Thank you. Now I wonder if any U-code fleet cars came out of there? 1970 was a pretty rare year for the HP 440 cop cars. Only a handful of departments from what I've seen actually got the E86 engine that year.
Here's my '71 NJSP Unmarked. It's an E86 U code. From what i gather, Ma Mopar didn't install the HP440 in the Fury III A38 in '69 and '70. For the NJSP '69 was 383 2brl, and '70 they were the standard performance 440 (350hp). There is a black 1970 PK41 on youtube. It has the 440 but whether or no it's a real HP engine idk?

There were a few U Code 1970 Fury Police cars. Oregon State Police and Minnesota Highway Patrol I believe were two agencies that ordered U Code cars.

Hi, great looking, any more pix and back story?

Spotted it online. Bought it from the widow of the original owner. Garage kept. 65k on the clock. Came with shop manual and a folder full of service receipts. Bill of sale from Falls Church Chrysler/Plymouth. The guy traded in a ‘65 Newport and they gave him $700.00 for it.

Wow! That is an amazing looking car!
I just love tx9 with an R code interior. My favorite. Can't say I have seen many C's with this combo.

You know we want to see the trim tag!
