Auction car waiting on the title.......Certainly not, still pretty cool!

Those marks will stay with a well cared for 140,000 mile Chrysler. They are neat but not uncommon. How about some pics of the rest of it?

The yellow paint on the compressor looks like a junk yard marker. The valve covers have too many scratches. You have many more miles than what you've been told. Sorry.

I think so, too. While rust might have formed here and there due to storage alone, the traces visible in the photos let me assume that 3,000 is not the actual mileage of the car.

The yellow paint on the AC compressor might be a mark to show its been charged or serviced as well as possibly junk yard parts.
Those wheels well pics look like somebody brushed on POR-15. Why do I say that? cuz they look exactly like mine ;)

There was a factory stamp in yellow paint that went in that location on the RV-2 a/c compressor. If you want to see all of the possible paint colors, stamps, etc., check out the restoration parts area of the Mopar hobby. They can be purchased new for letter-perfect A/B/E body restorations, but many cross with C-body cars too.

All of the stamps, daubs, and grease pencil marks indicated an inspector checked that item for correct installation/bolt torque. All of that has been documented over the years in various Mopar-oriented magazines, but the main thrust is in the B/E-body cars, where HEMIs resided and multiple $$$$$$ can result . . . for correct cars.
