This brown Newport with gold fabric interior went up for sale on FB in Holland, MI two days ago for $9k. From the description:

"383 motor that has been modified. Just the top of my motor with high performance parts. New brakes all the way around, New tires and rims. New pipes dual . New Air shocks. The car has never been in winter elements. What the car needs is a new vinyl top, and a new Air compressor. No Air . Cars in mint conditions."

Not to sound like a broken record, but... "upgrading" the wheels and tires, doing some light engine mods, etc. while the vinyl top needs to be redone just seems like money used in the wrong spots.

I'm impressed that a 4-door hardtop fetched that kind of money, though!
