Just got home from a trip to Denver to see our new grandson.
Hope you're doing good!
Remember that visit well..that '68 Barge looks so sweet! Since then I sold the DeSoto to a guy in AZ. Had several overseas buyers but I'm trying to keep them here, ever since I sold my white/blue '58 Firesweep and '58 Windsor to over there, never to return again probably.
Hope you still have the gold wagon too!

Ya the seller had a few Mopars sitting around
at the moment I’m waiting for the new fuel tank and sending unit to arrive.
I’m doing all the maintenance work that the Fury can be worry free driven anywhere and then I will find a new home for it.

Lea - actually I was thinking the exact same thing! ... if you have the space it might make things much easier, no importing to figure out how to deal with right now. I just paid the deposit on it so we do have a deal! Super excited to get another '71, especially one so original

My only advice would be to cover that original crack free dash pad!
I have a 70 Sport Fury I imported from Jersey NY a few years ago, its had a perfect Sport Fury dash pad, while moving house I left it uncovered for less than a week and the bloody Aussie sun got to it and cracked it!!...pretty sure people heard me swearing a few miles away when I saw it.
Do what you can to preserve yours.

It will be parked in a garage with a cover over the car, it will be the first classic car for my buddy Björn, and I told him how hard it is to find a car like that, and he is very responsible when it comes to that car because we are very close friends.
The Fury drives so nice I personally think is one of the nicest Fuselage cars I ever drove and believe me I had a boat load of them over past 25 years, is super good on fuel I used on a average 11liters per 100km on the 1150km trip to the shipping port is roughly 19mpg and even with the extrem heat in Western CANADA no problem the car runs perfectly cool with the 22” radiator at 75mls with 42 Celsius outside.
