A few more, from the pics it is a pretty nice original car with a repaint, numbers matching, window sticker, broadcast sheet and fender tag. I would guess from the pics some lower quarter work.

By the way,....... IMHO the 71 GT in question is worth having, $30K to $40K is in the realm.

$55K is a little optimistic today, but it may be achievable in 5 years or so.

I know I have my own perspectives on things, but IMO a 20k+ car should have nicely-done exhaust, aluminized tip to tail, with no cop-out reducer/extender thingies at the muffler inlets. This, along with the stupid-high front stance, makes me wonder if some other corners were cut elsewhere on an otherwise spectacular-appearing car.

I'm not saying it's a perfumed pig, just that I'd have a to-do list on that car as soon as I got it home.

The just aren't too many comparables for this 1971 Sport Fury GT... I understand what you are saying but in this case the low production of just 375 cars, then you factor in how many of those survived I think the supply doesn't meet the demand. Especially one with arguably the most desired colour combo, matching numbers, original paperwork, original interior etc....if you had 10 cars like this you'd sell them all pretty quick at $19,995.

A 1971 SFGT in brown met with steering column auto and bench seat in the same condition might only have a price of 20-22k in the same condition while the tx9 black car with buckets and console brings 35k$
