1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

I bought my 72 Imperial in 1992 at age 27. It had less than 50,000 miles on it. I paid $3500.00. We've enjoyed over 80,000 miles together, mostly from 1995 to 2001. Now it mostly stays protected in garage and enjoyed on special occasions. I own and have owned many cars; this hands down is my favorite car ever.View attachment 614295.
It's one of my favorite Imperials!

@Wile E Coyote
That is a stunningly beautiful imperial!
Is that the original color?
Do you have a write up somewhere on the car?
Perhaps with the fender tag?

Just have to ask since this is the For Sale tracking thread, are you putting it up on the block?

@Wile E Coyote I've always liked what you did with your 72, making it the car you wanted.
I didn't know you had your Imperial for so long, but I understand why you'll never part with it.
I say the same about mine.

1972 Imperial 4 door YM43T2C137273. This one on Hemmings today. Looks pretty nice (if you can get past the colour). The vendor calls it "Golda". For those of you who aren't theatre fans, "Golda" was Tevye's wife in Fiddler on the Roof. Also, FWIW, Golda Meir was president of Israel from 1969 to 1974.

Unsurprisingly, the air conditioning does not work.

Might just need a little sorting out for the AC, I see it has the updated Auto temp servo. The servo can be sent back to PAC for a rebuilt at a reasonable cost.

cuda hunter -
Thank you!
Yes, it is the original color.
I might have a write up; not sure, but I can and should do so if I haven't.
Yes, I'll post the fender tag.
No, not on the "sale block" - just wanted to share my ride.

Thank you sixpkrt!
I'm a true mopar purist. I love my car and all mopars 100% the way they came from the factory! I just believe in wheel/tire changes. That's all I've changed with my 72. When I can afford it, I'll add the vinyl top back on. The top was so deteriorated and ratty I had to have it removed and when I did, I knew time would pass before I would have new vinyl on so I painted the top the original JA5 silver. I still retain the original wheels, hubcaps and whitewall tires. And when I do eventually get the car repainted, the stripe I add will be vinyl so it can be removed easily by the next owner after I'm dead. :) LOL. #truth

Repaint, but Ge7 is a super cool color on this car!
Very optimistic.
Towing package
power vents
telescoping column.
H53 Temp control. This is the one that sucks right?
