At least mine wasn't like: ``one of my granny`s friends had a car like this...``

And once again for the 10 millionth time, I leave you with these famous last words...

Fail on two levels.
1. Grammar (...)

And more bad grammar
"That's about it. Nothing that really costs any money, they just need tinkered ".

Grammar; while terrible throughout the ad, is the least of that dude's issues.

Agree on 2.

On grammar, give the seller at least one small break. The ad is taken from the Cleveland, OH Craigslist site. This type of sentence structure ("the car needs" + past participle) is the way locals speak in Pittsburgh, PA -- which is not very far away from the "Sixth City." I am all for good grammar, but those two specific instances are simple manifestations of a regional variation in the English language.

Could you teach me how to say that correctly? I`m not provoking anybody, I just want to learn more (school does not teach me much in English nowadays).

What society needs is good ol' fashioned shame. Grammar is just the beginning.
