1972 Dodge Monaco

So many times, cars look like they were designed with emphasis on the front or the back. Perhaps they ran out of money and could not make both front and back stunning. This car is one of those where they got the whole car design dead on. Look at what the 1972 Chevrolets etc look like. Are they distinctive flowing work of art or like the designers ran out of money and gave in to time and money constraints. To me this car is argueably a design that stood the test of time.

The 73' front end is totally different from the 72'.

I agree the car needs road wheels but I do love the color combo. The yellow and green combo works for me!

Uh, my bad. Getting models & years mixed up. 73' Polara has no family resemblance whatsoever, changed up completely.

I think they did a nice job going through the years from 69 onto the end. Just about the only exterior metal that can be used from the 71 to the 72 is the trunk lid but you still can see Polara. The 73 while getting a face lift you can tell what it is. Even going to 74 the 73 Polara and the 74 Monaco share a resemblance

To add to that I really dislike the 72 Polara nose
