I am looking for LT & RT lower control arms for a 1973 Imperial that are mint. What other years and models will be a perfect match for this car?

Any other questions please post here.

Thanks, Mark

What I mean by mint is the whole rust free & pit free thing. I know it may make no sense to some, but I want to waste a huge amount of time and money making my 1973 Imperial coupe as new and over restored. I just like my cars to be put together better than the factory did, but getting the original finishes on all of the suspension pieces is important to me. None of the new cars had rust pits when new, at least I think they didn't.

Were the lower control arms on the 1973 Imperials just coated with cosmoline, some other metal finish only, or painted? I know what the suspension finishes are on E bodies, but would like to ask what all of the suspension components looked like when new on 73 Imperials. I would really like to know what all of the front and rear OEM suspension finishes are if anyone can help out with that. I really want to do this car correctly.

I admire your wanting to do a Concours restoration.
Lots of research, time, frustration (lol) and of course, money.
You just don't see that in C-bodies a lot.

RE: Finishes.
I highly recommend you make friends with a rediculously low mileage, original survivor and use his car as a reference car.

You can apply the Ebody finishes to the C body as that was the Chrysler Corp "Standard" practices (LCA cosmoline coated etc.).

Did not the 73 Imperial switch tot he C-body suspension and bolt pattern? Can you post up pics of your current LCA's...we should be able to tell what is going on from the pics.

In 73, Brian? Never heard that one.
Plus on the last year of production? Not logical (Yes, I know we're talking Ma Mopar).
