After much consideration, I have decided to sell my 1974 Chrysler Newport.
I live in rural Iowa and am about an hour from anything and at 9 miles per gallon, it doesn't get driven much. I have plenty of other toys to keep me amused.

It has 68,000 miles on it and and is a clean, sharp, car.

The radio does not work, the blower motor is prone to growling and the A/C could stand recharging.

I am asking $3500. Thank You.

That is a very nice Newport! Good luck on the sale!

That's even more interesting. I didn't know that interior had a two year run. 73 was a Special Edition. I wonder it it was also a special edition in 74 or now a regular option...

I couldn't tell you. I do know that the woman that originally owned it bought it in Ida Grove, Iowa. I purchased it from a friend of her family that received it from the estate.

I just found the info. Good luck with the car. Nice.

I usually hear that the 400s get worse mileage than the 440s assuming the same rear ratio. :dontknow:

Mine did but it was the best engine I ever had with the 71' 360 right behind it.

I like this car, but we got motorcycles, trikes, and an RV. If the mileage wasn't so bad on it, I might not sell it.
