It has a reserve, so all it needs is one bidder to have it meet reserve. Does that one bidder exist? Maybe, where do you find another one for sale today?

but then again it’s a multi door C body, nobody wants those do they?

Current bid is at $6555 with the reserve not met. I suspect it is not going to go much higher given the turmoil in the markets and the overall lock down of the economy.

I'm watching a 1970 Coronet on E bay, original and looks it. 318, A/C, H.D. suspension, woodgrain wheel, just an interesting mix of options, just under 8K reserve not met.

I want it. as noted, find another one, this condition, year, and a coupe.

but, alas aint buyin'. too much stuff in the queue.

nice car .. hope it finds a the right home. at this price territory or higher, it definitely should. :)

I found this car to be a very elegant and handsome car, and much less stodgy than the sister Monacos of the same vintage. If this thing is mechanically sound, then 8 or 9 grand would be a good price in my estimation. And you could just hop in and enjoy it.

A nice car, but a limited market for such. Many would not appreciate it for what it is, rather just considering it "a big, old car". Good that it has the 400, though. But no factory cruise control. How many Gran Coupes were built? There DID seem to be some interest in it, though, considering that the orig bid was just over $2200.00. Curious as to its history and why it was parked?

It needs to find a good home!

Ummmmm let me guess... could it be because the starting bid was $2,200 just as in the re-listing. He should of taken the 6k bid IMHO as I'll bet the original reserve was 10k+.
Maybe he lowered it a bit for the re-list.

I asked the seller why the ad states: "Certified Used Car", and he replied with this, which is not accurate.

That much money for 100K+ miles, no whitewalls, and plastic wheel covers?

A few upgrades to the Fury (or any similar car) like a roller timing chain and Iridium spark plugs and just "drive it". Might not get 35mpg on the highway, but much more comfortable. And everybody will see you, too!
