Also remember this about Grand Ma's, Aunties, or just wimm'in in general... <ducks> specially older ones, they may not drive many miles in a year and think they don't need too change the oil so they don't and what dez the owner's manual say? I can't remember what they all recommend but in my driving I use the consideration of severe use and that was 3,000 miles or 30 days as in reading in manuals is that condensation ie water would accumulate in the oil (think molecules) over time especially during short around town trips where the heat of the engine wouldn't boil off the water thus interfering with the lubricating quality of the oil.
So BBW of granny cars.
Now you have the Synthetics which is a whole 'nother story (myth).

I hope he sells it for what he paid for it, is stuck with it all winter or just plain chokes on it.
 
The poor Plymouth is encircled by Chevies. What a shame!
