Definitely prefer it without the vinyl. It doesn't seem like much of a stripper model anymore. A/C, console, tilt, cruise control, PW...those are good options.
Seems like a fair deal if the engine and trans are truly as strong as the seller claims...if you want it, I think you should buy it!

Forget about the fender I'd concentrate more on the many times it overheated being as the car is down south. PLUS! has everyone overlooked the air filter?

Right there that makes this a $500 shitbox.

there was no separate cordoba special in 76, they all had SS in the VIN, in 77 an SP VIN was added, but aside from 1 having a split bench seat as standard i dont know what other differences the special had from the premium.
standard motor in 76 was a 400, with no charge option of 318 or 360.
in 77 400 was still standard but 318 no charge option but 360 optional.
vinyl tops were optional on all of em
this one is missing the wheel opening moldings, maybe that makes it special.......

I don't think you guys are getting what an oddball this 'doba is.
A "stripper" model with a 400 BB and buckets/console.
If Graham wasn't sucking down tropical drinks, he'd get it.

Thanks Stan and yes that’s my kinda iron. My first car was a Doba S stripper 360 and tilt wheel only options. Still have it but not much left unfortunately. These cars didn’t do well against the rust monster....
