Stan, if you saw one ProMod 1/4 mile race....you would be hooked! Running in the 5.80 ET's at 255 mph.
Yep, it's my stress relief. Pretty cool guys racing on their own dime....no sponsors. If you see a sponsor on their car they are promoting their own business and livelihood. The engineering is incredible. Getting 5 stages of nitrous to work on nearly 900 cu in motors. Twin turbo's on 550 cu in engines and blowers on 500 cu n engines. Super trick suspension that is engineered and adjusted by computer readings and adjustments. The graphs and data are just amazing. I'm just in awe on how they can harness and mange 3,000 hp and still get it to go down the 1/4 mile.

I'm gonna race next weekend. The track opens on Sunday the 30th & then it's on from there. Hoping to race 30 or 40 times this summer. I looked at some logs & my AFR is way fat. Gonna lean it out & throw a bigger shot at it. It's gonna be a fun summer.
