Neat and rare car...worth $3500....Ummm maybe not?

I have pics of a 69 Newport 2dr 383/2bbl and 3 on the tree....now that was a cool car!!

At the right price this could be a nice project car.

In my book (which has proven optimistic in the past) I'd offer $2,500 for it as it stands and see where that takes me. The stick is nice, but the interior is well shredded and the ceiling doesn't look much better. For an auto I might do $1,500 in a vacuum, but obviously I don't need another 318/auto 2 door fusie fury atm.

Manual trans with column shift is only half the fun. A shame no console shifts were offered.

That is so easy to remedy. It can easily be done to look factory.
Having a factory clutch already in there is 99% of the hard work already done for you.

I would leave it a column shift. Too rare to "customize".

I see no problem with it having a floor shift thrown into that car. It's nothing a zillion of us wouldn't have done back in the day so my opinion is that "period correct" won't harm the value.
J.C. Whitney sold a gazillion Sparkomatic 3 speed shifters back then.
