Will a LA 318 Carter 2bbl will bolt up to a 65 Poly 318? Or is the mounting bolt pattern different? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure all Mopar 2 bbl carburetors with a 4 bolt mount pattern will interchange Chris. Throttle linkage may become an issue. In 1962 the cable linkage was introduced which "pulled" the throttle open. Previous to that the mechanical linkage would "push" the throttle open.

Thanks Will. There are a bunch of cheap new carbs but they all say for 67 and up. I'm looking for a quick and easy solution for my 65 Fury. They all look identical on top but I just wasn't sure about the mounting holes.

Buy a mounting gasket for both, and compare. That will let you know about the bolt pattern
I sent Holley Motor Life an inquiry as to the mounting flange on their "Large" Rochester 2bbl Sniper EFI unit. I was thinking that the mounting flange was the same as for the Holley 2210/2245 and related Carter BBD 1.5 carbs. Which they confirmed. 2.00" stud centerline frt to rr, 3.65" stud centerline side to side. 1.69" throttle bores, which should equate to about 475-500cfm, I suspect. In any event, probably as much as most of the factory 4bbls from the later 1950s to earlier 1960s.

I suspect the smaller BBD would be a smaller flange than the BBD 1.5 . Alternate application for the small BBD would be "1980 Chrysler 360 2bbl", which should be the only time that small BBD was put on a car 360.
