If so, there are several things I see wrong with this car. Some of the up close photos of the car appear to reveal bondo work not to mention the big bulge or bubble at the top rear corner of the driver's side wheel well, just above the skirt.
This is NOT the original interior. If it had the optional leather the seats would look like this:

The lines in the upholstery on the eBay car go the wrong way. They look like replacement vinyl covers an upholstery shop did. The original vinyl seats for that car looked like this:
The "300" emblem on the glove box door is incorrect. This guy is touting the early build and everything, which is cool, but it isn't like it was the first one down the line. My car was built in Sept. '64 so there are others out there that are earlier, if that's what you are into. It's a cool car, but it isn't as "original" as this guy is making it out to be. It down't have the original paint or the original upholstery. I really wish people would learn the definition of "original".
Then my biggest pet peeve of all: screws in the door panels where they shouldn't be. The interior door panel should NOT have any screws in them and should look like this:
I'm very surprised this car has bid as high as it has. If I were in the market and had to have THAT car, I'd pay no more than $6K. It's a good car to start with if you are planning to tear it down and restore it. FWIW, I think his decode is wrong as well. I believe AM/FM radio to be V3 and seat belts to be Y8. My car is equipped with both and does not have Q3 or X8 on the Fender Tag (mine is actually on the firewall). If he gets north of $15K for that, it may be time for me to part with my fully restored example for $30K.
