I have seen photos where new plugs are available but darn if I can find out where to get them. The rounds ones aren't too bad, but the ones for the holes where the tail lights, etc are I can't seem to fine. Thanks for any help.

Thats great for the round ones, but the ones I am having trouble with is the oval ones that fit where the access to the backup light bulbs and the bolts to the gas door are.

PM sent. I had to source used ones from National Moparts. To my knowledge, those aren't reproduced. Mine were missing completely.

Thanks a lot Rexus, got your message and now I see I will start looking for good used ones if available. Mine are missing also, so the search goes on as usual. Will check with Cbodybob as see if he has any that are half decent, but after 50 years maybe no so such thing.

Dont have a plug but the holes are 2" wide 4 1/4 long.

I think (emphasis on: think!) the jeep drain plugs are that dimension.
You can buy just one from your local mopar dealer to try. It is P/N "68194821AA"
